  2. today is more reckless than ever &will do its utmost to trigger more wars in the MidEast. It is too early to talk about durable stability in the region so long as the establishment seems determined to create instability & fuel sectarian war insofar as possible.

Watching the news today is reminiscent of the . A government in uproar, a county divided, multiple resignations, chaos, meltdown & a coup attempt in ’s .

WATCH: As Israeli airstrikes rain down on Palestinians in Gaza today, here's a reminder of what life is like for the besieged population. Israeli bombs. Israeli drones. Israeli-imposed power cuts. And no way to leave. Israel has turned the coastal enclave into an open-air prison

Israel broke the ceasefire. Israel broke the ceasefire. Israel broke the ceasefire. Israel broke the ceasefire. Israel broke the ceasefire. Israel broke the ceasefire. Israel broke the ceasefire. Israel always breaks the ceasefire.

When we're inevitably blamed for the escalation, remember that it was Israel that violated the fragile ceasefire -as usual- with an assassination attempt.

Another case study in media bias / unconscious identification unfolding in real time: Israeli 'operations' 'go wrong' Palestinian 'attacks' are 'foiled' Israel 'responds' Hamas 'escalates'

Hezbollah literally won’t participate in the new Lebanese government without fair representation of its Sunni allies but this won’t stop every Western policy wonk and pundit from framing Hezb’s regional role as a “Shi’ite encroachment” and a “genocide against ahl as-Sunnah”.

The US isn't merely "supporting" the war--it's a "co-belligerent" or party to the conflict according to international law & is legally accountable. Refueling is but one criteria which also include: supplying arms, logistical support, advisors, intel used in conduct of hostilities

    3) Needless to say, you won’t hear anything in mainstream media about Hizbullah’s underrepresentation in govt or how it’s holding up the formation of the new cabinet-even against the wishes of its allies-out of loyalty to its Sunni allies who are demanding govt representation

    2) There's no "Hizbullah domination" of the system despite it having the largest parliamentary bloc. It's now in a standoff with Hariri over 6 unrepresented independent Sunni MPs allied with it, but Hariri refuses to concede a single seat so as to maintain his monopoly on Sunnis

    1) Hizbullah's so called "Shia power grab" in Lebanon: Hizbullah is underrepresented in the new cabinet relative to the size of its parliamentary bloc with AMAL (30 MPs), while smaller blocs in the M14 camp like Hariri's are demanding cabinet shares disproportionate to their size
