Gaddafi's major bases of support were Bani Walid and Sirte. Sirte has been rubblized nearly entirely and Bani Walid has had its soul ripped out by Islamists and western backed mercenaries since the war ended.

It seems the Tobruk HoR was willing to push to free Saif al-Islam from captivity, for what purpose I'm not sure. There are some recent articles reiterating the ICC nonsense regarding crimes against humanity levied against him which will be pushed by the MSM if he ascends to power
